Puistokylä is a new residential area based on sustainable development as part of the Tuusula Rykmentinpuisto. The area includes an old firing range and old forest, which has been preserved as part of the planning.
The plan allows for approximately 51 000 square metres of housing on an area of about 25 hectares, with a focus on high-quality terraced houses and small blocks of flats. The blocks are bounded by two-storey terraced houses along the main green streets of the Puistokylä, concentrated in the central and northern half of the area and bordering the green areas of the Rykmentinpuisto. The southern edge of the village is a block of detached houses, structured by slow streets.
