Toukolankustaa won Helsinki's plot allocation competition for energy- and cost-efficient residential construction. Nearly all apartments offer sea views and dual-aspect vistas.
A centrally located staircase allows apartments to be distributed across the entire building envelope. Flexibility is achieved with a 6 x 6-meter module, enabling spacious rooms and adaptable layouts. The design combines systematic planning with a high degree of prefabrication for cost efficiency.
