Our projects Hoas Huippu and As Oy Helsingin Ambra are part of this year’s Open House Helsinki programme!
Open House Helsinki is an annual architecture festival that opens the doors to fascinating buildings, sites and urban environments across Helsinki from 3–6 September 2026. This year’s main theme is architectural competitions.
Hoas Huippu is a hybrid building in Keski-Pasila, completed in spring 2026, with 359 student apartments. The lower floors house the new offices of the Foundation for Student Housing in the Helsinki Region (Hoas), as well as a restaurant and commercial space opening in August. The design places a strong emphasis on communal living, with shared spaces that encourage residents to meet, spend time together and create a sense of community.
Tours on 4 September at 15:00 and 16:00
As Oy Helsingin Ambra is a terraced residential building in Jätkäsaari. The design was developed as the result of an invited architectural competition organised by Skanska and the City of Helsinki. The project brings together contemporary urban living and a strong architectural identity, contributing to the evolving character of Jätkäsaari’s waterfront neighbourhood.
Tours on 5 September at 11:00 and 12:00
Come and discover the buildings and learn more about the ideas and design behind them! Please note that the tours are held in Finnish.
