ONE Architects is developing an AI-based rapid sketching service model that will bring significant benefits to housing design even before the investment decision is made. The model enables multiple design options to be generated quickly and cost-effectively, even in real-time workshops with the client. This allows an early assessment of the project's constraints, costs and carbon impacts.
"AI does not replace the architect, but it gives us more time to focus on the essentials. In addition, the speed of the initial design phase brings significant savings for the whole project," says architect and technology lead Harri Ahokas.
