The Kiljavannummi sanatorium, completed in 1938, was renovated into a rehabilitation hospital. Before the design work began, a comprehensive architectural history report was prepared for the site. Changes occurred in the patient wing from the basement to the 5th floor, as well as on the wing's roof, where a new HVAC machine room was built. In the tower section, changes mainly took place on the 3rd to 5th floors, and on the 6th floor, where a surface renovation was carried out. In the hall section, mainly surface renovations were done, except for the first floor, where some changes to the room boundaries occurred.
